Radio One Columbus teamed up with a number of prestigious community service organizations at The Ohio State University to help in an effort to fight homelessness in Columbus, OH. Spearheading the campus effort were the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Theta Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Epsilon Chapter, and the brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fratenity Inc., Iota Psi Chapter all of The Ohio State University.

With all three of the Radio One Columbus stations broadcasting from the event, the combination of excellent promotion mixed with the mind of service helped make the event a huge success. Overall over 400lbs of food was collected and added to our goal of gaining 3,000lbs of food by the end of our “30 Days of Service” campaign.

We appreciate The Ohio State University, The Frank W.Hall Black Cultural Center, and all of the organizations who were involved in helping us fight homelessness in Central Ohio.

Signing off,

Yaves the Street Pastor
