RoyalColumbus.com is your one stop shop for all the updates with the Radio Ready competition. Royal Columbus provides a weekly update of all the voting totals with the top 32 artists listed. They also provide a review of the top artists they have picked with a link to their page in the Radio Ready competition.
Another week is in the books. The field is really beginning to separate itself from those with the drive to win, to those that barely even vote for themselves. While the top 16 remained relatively the same, we did see a couple of artists take huge jumps forward. No other artist jumped more places than Meechie Nelson. With last Friday’s rowdy 600 person live performance at Skully’s, its not hard to see that he has a very large local fan base to do so. Sadly fellow performer and Royal Columbus favorite NiQ fell from the top 16 this week. J Lynn solidified herself within the top 5 by tripling her vote tally. While Yizzo aka Drake II took the largest fall, but still kept himself within the top 16 with a very respectable 346. While we at Royal Columbus have never seen ItzBez or Submoluc perform live, we do know that our new #2 C10 is going to be a major force to be reckoned with. Performance will also play a major part in this competition, and C10 is as seasoned with a stage mic as they come. That being said, the little girl group DLG is jumping up in the competition fast, even though we have know idea on how they could possibly perform with the cutoff age being 18yrs old.
