Five years ago Young Chris was on his way tasting success under the Roc regime with his affiliations with State Property, Young Gunz and promising buzz for a solo project. Five years later, Rocafella is little more than just a trademark, the Philly emcee is still trying to get a solo project off the ground and more youngins’ probably associate the name “Young Chris” with the upstart Atlanta rapper that performs “Racks on Racks” than the guy who used to throw up Roc signs with Jay-Z.
