Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, REALLY doesn’t want publicity like this. Tonight, they’re holding a special Leap Day event called “Leaping to Literacy Night” where they’re promoting reading to students and parents. But when they promoted the event on a sign outside of the school . . . they made a spelling mistake. The sign said, quote, “L-A-E-P-I-N-G To Literacy Night.” The school fixed it . . . but not before photos of it got out.
