William Balfour, the alleged killer of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew, is said to have admitted to the killings. Balfour’s girlfriend, Shonta Cathey, testified against him claiming he admitted the murders to her. “He say he went in and the brother rushed him, and he shot him, and the mother was coming down the stairs, calling his name, and he shot her”, Cathey said.
Not only do prosecutors claim Balfour stole the gun from Jennifer Hudson’s brother, but he also was upset about accusations of his wife cheating on him. This evidence adds to the fact that Balfour was seen driving the same SUV that Hudson’s nephew was found in.
Jennifer Hudson was said to be squirming in her seat during the trial. What makes this trial even more crazy os that he’s still pleading not-guilty. This is such a sad situation.What do you think of the trial?
