Although the death of Robert Champion happened almost 6 months ago, it seems that justice is slow to be served. The investigation has officially stated that there are 13 suspects with hazing charges. The reason there are 13 is because there was no one specific hit or wound that caused the death of Champion. Rather, it was a continuous amount of blows that came from multiple people which created his intense wounds, which ultimately lead to his death.
One suspect of the 13, Bryan Jones, turned himself in to the county jail in Tampa, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.Jones is one of 11 suspects facing a third-degree felony charge of hazing and causing injury or death and two counts of first-degree misdemeanor hazing.
