Last Day To Register For Race For The Cure

You still have more time to register online for this year’s Komen Columbus Race for the Cure.  Organizers say registrations will now be taken through midnight, as the number of participants is off the pace of previous years.  Races in Columbus and other cities have reported declines since the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundaiton and Planned Parenthood clashed over funding earlier this year.  You can find registration information online at www.komencolumbus.com.  The race is Saturday May 19th. I’ll be emceeing a portion of the walk and I’m excited about it! My grandmother fought and won her battle against breast cancer. She’s my hero!!
