A rare flower is about to bloom at the Ohio State University. Botanists say their titan arum is due to bloom next week, casting its foul stench throughout the Biological Sciences Greenhouse. Titan arum is also known as the “corpse flower,” because it’s smell is compared to rotting flesh. When the plant blooms, the greenhouse will stay open late for visitors to see the rare event. I’m kinda interested in smelling this flower. I know it’s gonna stink, but I’m just curious.
