First Lady Michelle Obama made an appearance on ABC’s The View today. She talked about some of her favorite platforms like military family support, healthy eating and gardening. We all know that the First Lady has starting an amazing all natural garden at the White House and is spreading the word about healthy eating. And now the first lady is releasing her new book “American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America.” Michelle Obama broke ground with the first vegetable garden at the White House since Eleanor Roosevelt’s victory garden in the 1940s.
The first lady stressed that she wanted to start a garden because she never had one growing up and she wanted her children to eat healthy. Check out what she had to say and more.
