Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes File for Divorce!

Seems like it’s another Hollywood divorce!  Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are the next celebrity couple to announce that they are getting a divorce.  The couple married in a very lavish ceremony five years ago in an Italian castle surrounded by many of their celebrity friends & family.

Holmes attorney issued this statement about her impending divorce

This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family, Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.

Katie who is 33 and Tom who is 49 have a child together 6 year old Suri.  I’m really surprised that these two haven’t lasted.  They seemed so in love especially how Tom jumped all over Oprah’s couch proclaiming his love for Katie.  No word on why the couple are planning to split.
