Denzel Washington’s Wife Not Impressed With “Flight” Role

While fans and critics alike rave about Denzel Washington’s performance in the new hit flick Flight, his wife is less than impressed. Speaking with People magazine, the Academy Award winning-actor says Pauletta Washington wasn’t necessarily impressed with his portrayal of an alcoholic pilot. In fact, she was apparently a “little disturbed.”

Denzel explained:

”After a scene where I’m drunk and arguing the whole day, the last thing I want to do is any of those things so it was therapeutic. But my wife was a little disturbed by this one to be honest.”

One wonders what Mrs. Washington will make of his new role in the crime-drama 2 Guns. Co-starring Mark Wahlberg and Paula Patton, 2 Guns tells the story of DEA agent and a Naval Intelligence Officer investigating each other because they believe the other is stealing money from the mafia.
