A$AP Rocky came into the game marching to the beat of his own drum, so it comes as no surprise when he steps outside of the box musically. Fans got their first listen to A$AP’s eclectic soundscapes with “Wild for the Night,” a daring collaboration with EDM maestro Skrillex. This time out, the Harlemite delivers a surprising collab with Florence + the Machince’s Florence Welch, “I Come Apart,” which, despite what earlier album leaks may reveal, will in fact be featured on his much-anticipated major-label debut, Long.Live.A$AP.

“It is on the album, it just didn’t get leaked,” A$AP told MTV News. “That’s a girl song, it’s more of a moody sounding kinda song.”

Although unexpected, the song works because of the juxtaposition of the futuristic basslines and Welch’s sonic gracefulness. READ MORE
