Beyoncé made it plain in her “Single Ladies” song by stating “if you like it, then you should’ve put a ring on it.” While Bey obviously didn’t mean it literally, she still made a strong point. If a man doesn’t put a ring on the woman he could see himself marrying, he’s only leaving the door open for another man.

So when you look at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s relationship, especially in light of the recent news that the two are expecting, it’s natural to wonder “what is he waiting for?” We don’t know either, but just in case he needs some convincing, we’ve come up with 10 good reasons why he should go ahead and take Kim off the market for good.

REASON 10:: They Were Friends First

All previous spotlight aside, it takes a secure woman to hook up with a man who some say could easily have any woman he wants.
REASON 5:: Neither of them is in it for the money.
Financially both Kim and Kanye are set enough for the next few generations but as the saying goes what good is having everything if you’ve got no one to share it with.
REASON 4:: They make each other happy.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see how the two light up when they’re around each other and both of them have reached a place in life where that’s something to be grateful for. When Kanye’s mom died he seemingly went off the deep end for a while. But he seems to be back and doing better than ever. Kim seems to have had a huge part in that.
REASON 3:: The baby of course.
REASON 2::The fact that the couple just bought an 11 million dollar house.
Their home in Bel-Air together acts as an indication that they plan to be together for a while. Seriously though? 11 million? That’s commitment.
REASON 1:: Last but not least. Her divorce will be finalized sometime this year.
Hopefully. Can’t marry a woman who’s already married for obvious reasons but the dispute is “said” to be settled sometime this summer. The only reason why it’s drawn out for this long is because Kris Humphries was whining about their marriage being a hoax and was asking for an annulment. The end result is the same and from here it’s looking like a Mrs. West is on the way.
