UPDATE: 6:14 P.M. EST In an official press conference, LAPD ask that media cameras back away from the area as to not give Dorner a tactical advantage over the SWAT team if he is watching television.

LAPD to Dorner, “It’s time to turn yourself in; it’s time to end the bloodshed.”

A crowd is gathering with signs that read: “Don’t Kill Dorner.”

Dorner still has not been captured. All cars leaving Big Bear are being searched by law enforcement.

UPDATE: 6:04 P.M. EST Two officers allegedly shot by Chris Dorner during Big Bear shoot-out are being air-lifted to the hospital. Dorner still has not been captured.

UPDATE: 5:11 P.M. EST Reports are that Dorner is currently surrounded in a cabin in the Angelus Oaks area of the San Bernardino National Forest.

UPDATE: 4:45 P.M. EST Dorner was in the white, Dodge pick-up truck, when deputies tried to make a stop. Dorner refused to stop, a gun battle ensued and he fled on foot. A second gun battle followed and it currently appears to be a stand-off. It is confirmed that two deputies are shot and they are trying to pull them to safety to get them treatment.

UPDATE: Chris Dorner is not in custody; he is engaged in shoot-out with police officers and reports are that two officers are down. He is suspected to have at least 30 weapons.

A home in Big Bear, CA was invaded and a couple was tied up, law enforcement believe by former officer and fugitive murder suspect, Chris Dorner. According to various reports, he was taken into custody, but then a shoot-out occurred, and the current news is that he is heavily armed and on the run in the couple’s 2008 white, Dodge pick-up truck.
