Lil Scrappy is on thin ice with his current fiancee, and baby’s mama, Erica Dixon, who says she has had enough of the rappers indecisiveness and commitment phobia. She has also accused Scrappy, who proposed to her during last year’s reunion episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, of being insincere with his intentions to marry her.
After discovering several late night text messages from other women on Scrappy’s phone, Dixon finally decided to call it quits, sources say. She recently canceled the engagement, labeling it a farce because of scrappy’s indifference about actually moving forward with a wedding ceremony (which is a deal breaker in many cases).
Adding insult to injury, the drama continues to unfold in front of a national audience. Scrappy and Erica’s on-again-off-again relationship seemed destined for failure from the very beginning of last season’s show. Aside from Scrappy’s perceived infidelity, his mother has done everything in her power to tear the young couple apart, including encouraging her son to be with his former jump-off Shay “Buckey,”.
Erica told Mouth To Ears.com that she doesn’t believe that Scrappy even porposed to her for the right reasons.
“We’re co-parenting. I definitely called off the engagement. Clearly Scrappy wasn’t ready. I feel like the whole proposal, at the end of the day, was to save his image. It was all about how he looked to the people,” she stated.
“I believe he proposed at the end on the reunion because he was getting so much hate from fans and I think it was just too much for him to deal with,” said Erica. “I feel like as time progressed, the truth came out about what his true intentions really were.”
