Rumor has it that Instagram will be adding video functionality to its app this month. With the rise of short-video format apps such as Vine in recent months, it would not be a big surprise to see video become part of the popular app. Before another player gets too big in the video field, it makes sense for the popular photo sharing app to go after some market share. Apparently Instagram will allow for anywhere between 5 and 10 second videos. It is not clear yet whether or not there will be filters. We will, of course, keep you updated as we hear more.
