Here we go again. This time it’s Roc-A-Fella Records, Rocawear Co-Founder and one time Jay-Z BFF Damon Dash who is in the red to the Feds to the tune of $2.8 million dollars.
Dash has made no secret of his financial woes as of late and the story just seems to continue to be getting worse.
TMZ is reporting that the feds filed a federal tax lien against Dash, claiming he needs to pay taxes for the years 2005 and 2011. The breakdown:
2005: $2,614,918.10
2011: $187,544.20
Grand total: $2,802,262.30
The 2005 bill is clearly larger … which makes sense considering Hov and Dash parted ways back in 2004. So in 2005, he was probably still making a whole more taxable income.
Dame recently discussed owing millions in back taxes to the States of NY and NJ and claims he’s lost multiple properties to foreclosure.
We really hope this gets resolved quickly because there are plenty of places we can imagine seeing Dame Dash but jail simply isn’t one of them.
