There’s a pastor out of North Carolina by the name of Rodney Wills that was just shy of his 4th year church anniversary at Mt. Salem Baptist Church before he got suddenly fired… Why? Because Reverend Wills got caught at a local Rick Ross concert! Rev Willis at the tender age of 26 was the youngest pastor installed at the 109 year old church and now is also the shortest term pastor at the church.
On Saturday the deacons met and voted 11 to 3, to relieve Rev. Wills of his duties to the church. The next day Rev. Wills arrived to the church for Sunday morning worship service and notice his parking sign taken down and his name removed from the office door. The deacons even asked another minister from the community to officiate the service that morning. But this wasn’t the first time Rev. Wills was caught at a rap concert! Rev. Wills also spotted at a Lil Wayne concert nine months ago. A deacon representing the church was quoted saying, “We cannot have our leader supporting people of this world who are tearing down the kingdom of God.”
