Dark Man X is making his return to Hollywood in a major way. SOURCE

Dark Man X is making his return to Hollywood. Less than a month after being arrested for driving without a license, DMX looked to be in good spirits when he was photographed alongside Chris Rock on the set of the comedy legend’s latest movie.

Ironically, the scene with the Yonkers MC took place in a jail house.

X’s publicist, Domenick Nati, told BET.com that the rapper (birth name, Earl Simmons) and Rock played well off each other, and that at one point in the scene, he even led his fellow inmates in a song.

The “Party Up” lyricist will be playing himself in the production, as yet untitled, and, according to Nati, will be taking on more acting roles in the near future.

He’s previously appeared in roles for the hip hop cult classic Belly, alongside Jet Li and Aaliyah in Romeo Must Die and for fellow former Ruff Ryder Eve’s eponymous TV show. He plans to make the return official with an appearance at the famed Sundance Film Festival in January 2014.
