Superstar singer Rihanna sparked the arrest of two Thai men at the weekend after posting a picture of her cuddling up to a slow loris online.

The 25-year-old tweeted the Instagram snap on Friday night during a trip to Phuket, Thailand, as she took time out from her Diamonds World Tour.

“Look who was talkin dirty to me!” she wrote.

But it seems local police were monitoring her account.

The following morning cops raided the popular Bangla Road area to crack down on people peddling the endangered primates for pictures with tourists.

A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were detained and could face charges of possession of protected animals.

Rihanna, who is currently touring in Southeast Asia,  took the pic with the animal under the care of two illegal handlers, who were arrested by local authorities.

They face up to four years in prison and a $1,300 fine if convicted.

“I had an order from the Phuket Governor to do a raid today after Rihanna posted a photo of her with the loris,” Awat Nithikil, of Khao Phra Taew Forest Preserve, told Phuket News. READ MORE
