Today was historical in Black History! Here are just a few of the events that took place February 3rd:
1903 — Jack Johnson became the first Black Heavyweight Champion.
1920 — The Negro Baseball League was founded on this date.
1947 — Percival Prattis became the first black news correspondent admitted to the House and Senate press gallery in Washington, D.C.
2009 — Eric Holder was sworn-in as the nation’s first African-American Attorney General.
