WATER COOLER TALK: The NFL is considering imposing a new rule that would make it a penalty when the “N-word” is used on the field during a game.
Now many players are against the rule saying that sometimes they are just so into the game that the word just comes out!
Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman is outspoken about this proposed new rule. Sherman was quoted saying to Yahoo Sports, “it’s an atrocious idea, It’s almost racist to me. It’s weird they’re targeting one specific word. Why wouldn’t all curse words be banned then?”
