WATER COOLER TALK: Meet Chase Culpepper a North Carolina teen that just got his drivers licence! Usually this is a happy time for any teenager but things quickly flipped for him when the DMV asked him to remove his makeup before he could take his drivers licence picture.
Why? South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles spokesperson Beth Parks said it’s important for a license picture to portray who the person is legally. But Chase stated that he was dressed the way he does every day and this is who he is.
Do you think it is fair that Chase was forced to remove his make up? What about other’s that don’t look the stereo typical look for their “gender”? Should they have to change?
