1. Northland High School KAP and Student Council Present: “Hip-Hope Alive: Beat the Stereotype” Conference, this Thursday-Saturday. There will be a screening of “American Beatbox,” a concert, a conference with music, food, and discussion, all in an effort to bring positivity back to hip hop. 2. Saturday, the American Society of Civil Engineering is having their “Stem Expo 2015.” This is a fun and exciting way to introduce elementary and middle school students to science, technology, engineering and math.
