Arrest Made in Stabbing of 2 Nicki Minaj Tour Members

A Philadelphia man has been arrested in the stabbings of two members of rapper Nicki Minaj‘s tour, one of whom died.

Authorities say 31-year-old Pierce Boykin was arrested Monday on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses. It wasn’t immediately clear if investigators were looking for other suspects.

The double stabbing on Wednesday left 29-year-old Devon Pickett dead and a second member of Minaj’s tour severely wounded. The 27-year-old man remains in critical condition.

Police say the stabbing occurred outside a bar after the victims argued with a man inside.

According to Minaj, the crew members had arrived in Philadelphia only two days earlier to rehearse for a tour.Boykin or an attorney for him could not be reached Tuesday to comment on the charges.

Chris Brown Denied Entrance Into Canada Hours Before Show

Chris Brown was turned away at the Canadian border just hours before a scheduled concert and he handled the frustrating news with dignity and professionalism. No, really … he did.

Brown tweeted, “The good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!”

Brown was scheduled to play in Montreal Tuesday night and Toronto Wednesday night. According to Brown, both shows were sold out.

Canadian law dictates a person could be “criminally inadmissible” if they have been convicted of a crime involving assault.

As expected. Ssme fans were upset with Chris Brown after the singer cancelled two sold out shows on his BTS tour after being denied entrance into Canada, but one concertgoer also blamed Trey Songz for the situation.

A fan hit up Chris and Trey on Twitter, telling the singers that she paid “good money” to see them in Canada, and added that she is “pissed off” over the cancellation. After seeing the message a confused Trey responded by asking the woman what he did to make her so angry, considering it was Chris’ felony that led to him being barred from entering the country.

Drake & Friend Clown Chris Brown on IG and Drake Disses Brown at a Concert

Fans of both Drake and Chris Brown thought the two young stars killed their beef when they were seen in the studio together last year. Most others believed it as well when they collaborated on a skit for the ESPYs. Apparently, any truce they did have is over and done with, as Chris Brown alluded to Drake being a “corny singing rapper” in a recent Breakfast Club interview, while also making it clear that the two aren’t friends.

In another interview. Brown spoke of how inaccurate the Grammys voting system has become, and when asked why he doesn’t vote, he says he feels artists shouldn’t have to vote for themselves, and wouldn’t vote for others. Why? Because everyone wants that top spot.

“Regardless of whoever is #1…everyone else is envious because they’re #1. I don’t give a f**k who it is. I do it, he (pointing to Tyga) does it, everybody does it, I’m just being real.”

Drake’s good friend OVO Hush posted up a clip of the interview along with a caption suggesting Brown is just an envious individual, writing, “This just in: It’s just jealousy ya’ll. Back to you, Bob! #NotSoBreakingNews.” Drake chimed in on the comments section, saying he wished “there was a bucket emoji,” which many of his fans speculated was a reference to Brown being “washed up” for his comments.

It didn’t stop there, after Chris Brown said in his recent interview that he wasn’t getting paid to talk about past beef with Drake, the YMCMB rapper took a subliminal shot at the “Fine China” singer during his show in New Zealand. Drizzy remixed the lyrics to his new song “Energy” to say, “I got R&B n****s that I gotta act like I like,” leading everyone to think that he was talking about Chris.

Blac Chyna’s Mom Doesn’t Care About Kylie … I Want Tyga Back with My Daughter!

Tyga’s dalliance with 17-year-old Kylie Jenner don’t mean a thing to the mother of Blac Chyna … who tells TMZ she desperately wants her grandson’s parents back together.

Shalana Hunter reunited with Tyga backstage at his concert last weekend in D.C. — so the two clearly still have a relationship. She says she has “no feeling” about Tyga’s relationship with Kylie, but she wants Tyga and Blac Chyna to work things out … blaming the initial breakup on the follies of youth.

Hunter says she still thinks of Tyga like a son-in-law and has no ill will … adding Tyga treats her with nothing but respect.

ZENDAYA COLEMAN CHECKS E! REPORTER OVER FAUX LOCS

When actress Zendaya Coleman decided to rock a different hair look to the Oscars on Sunday night, she never expected to ignite a natural hair firestorm. Her faux locs, one of the changing hairstyles Coleman has tried out as of late were critiqued on E! News’ popular fashion show Fashion Police.

Kelly Osborne said she thought Zendaya’s style was maturing and looked forward to her evolution, but co-host Giuliana Rancic though the hairstyle was “too big” for the star and possibly smelled like patchouli…and weed. (It should be noted, that although Rancic was the first to mention the patchouli oil, it was comedian co-host Kathy Griffin who said ‘weed’ which Rancic then co-signed.)

Coleman issued a thoughtful, measured response via her Twitter this morning, predictably setting off a natural hair education class on Rancic’s Twitter account.

Rancic apologized via her account, but further angered people who thought her apology lacked sincerity.

@GiulianaRancic – Dear @Zendaya, I’m sorry I offended you and others. I was referring to a bohemian chic look. Had NOTHING to do with race and NEVER would!!!

And though Rancic apologized earlier today, on Twitter, stating that her remark was more about a Bohemian lifestyle than it was about race, apparently she, the network and even Kelly Osbourne felt she needed to clarify and expound on that apology live, on air.

Here’s what she had to say:

“I’d really like to address something that’s weighing really heavy on my heart. I want to apologize for a comment that I made on last night’s Fashion Police about Zendaya‘s hair.

As you know, Fashion Police is a show that pokes fun at celebrities in good spirit, but I do realize that something I said last night did cross the line.

I just want everyone to know that I didn’t intend to hurt anybody, but I learned it’s not my intent that matters. It’s the result. And the result is people are offended, including Zendaya. And that is not OK.

Therefore, I want to say to Zendaya, and anyone else out there that I hurt, that I’m so sincerely sorry. This really has been a learning experience for me. I learned a lot today and this incident has taught me to be a lot more aware of cliches and stereotypes, how much damage they can do. And that I am responsible, as we all are, to not perpetuate them further. Thank you for listening.”
