Fetty Wap has taken over the summer with three Billboard Top 20 hits: “Trap Queen,” “679” and “My Way” (which likely would’ve been a top three hit if it went on iTunes sooner). Paterson’s star still isn’t relaxing, though. After dropping “I Wonder” yesterday, Fetty Wap strikes again with “I’m Straight.” This is another joint where Fetty Wap decides to go without the help of his Zoo Gang.

Wap decided to move away from love anthems with these past two tracks, although the tropical-flavored production is still here. The sing-song flow, adlibs and the general feel-good vibes are still here, too. This doesn’t mean that “I’m Straight” has the same hit potential as his three biggest songs. The whole thing doesn’t come off as indelible. However, at least the energy is still there.

The star is going to still be busy throughout the summer. He’s set to join Chris Brown on the One Hell of a Night Tour, which also features Teyana TaylorOmarion and Kid Ink. That tour begins on Aug. 12 at Kansas and goes on through the end of the summer. Each city will presumably be going crazy when “My Way” comes on.
