It is being reported that a professor has been murdered on a Mississippi College Campus and the shooter is still on the run.
The paper had also reported the suspect was still at large. CNN reported on air that, according to the coroner, the male professor was shot in his office.
The school is still on lockdown. The campus’ Twitter account had earlier instructed students and faculty to stay inside and away from windows.
Apel reported the school sent a text alerting students of the situation at 10:35 a.m. Monday.
Delta State is a 4-year public university with about 3,700 students, located two hours north of Jackson, Miss.
