Those who love both free streaming and Adele face a conundrum when 25 finally comes out tomorrow (Nov. 19). Three sources knowledgeable about the rollout plan told The New York Times that Spotify and Apple Music won’t stream the album when it drops. It’s heavily implied that Adele herself made that decision.

Of course, Spotify getting the shaft by a superstar isn’t a new thing. Taylor Swift pulled all of her albums from Spotify, and Beyoncé’s self-titled album didn’t hit the streaming service until a year after it hit iTunes. Prince, who’s been anti-Internet for a while, pulled all of his albums from Spotify.

A big reason behind Adele’s decision is how she’s big enough to not need Spotify. 25 is projected by Billboard to sell over 2.5 million copies in the U.S. in its first week.
