Andrew Wiggins experienced an awkward initiation into the NBA when he was drafted Numaber 1 by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the summer of 2014.

At this time we were also waiting for LeBron to make another “decision” as his contract had run out with the Miami Heat.

During Draft Season 2014 Wiggins was quoted as saying he just wanted to play for a team that wanted him.

King James could have made Wiggins’ life easier by publicly welcoming him to Cleveland, but James omitted Wiggins entirely from his announcement that he would be returning to the Cavaliers, which was published by Sports Illustrated in July.

LeBron recently explained why he didn’t mentioned The Cavs new blood, when he announced that he was coming home.

The Akron All-Star recently told Yahoo Sports “I didn’t know the kid, really. I knew Dion. I knew Kyrie. I knew Tristan. I knew all the guys that I was playing with before. I didn’t know the kid, so it wasn’t no big issue to me.”
