Lollapalooza 2011 - Day 3

Kid Cudi makes his return to the mic with new music for his fans.

The Cleveland artist switches it up on his latest track “The Frequency.” Produced by his good friends and frequent collaborators Mike Dean Plain PatCudi does his thing over the mellow beat. In this track, Cudi switches from his punk rock style showcased on Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven, to rapping.

Couple girls, couple stories, and a couple shrooms, couple clubs and I’m in the zone, rather take the party home,” raps Cudi. The rapper was reportedly seen in the studio with Kanye West recently, working on Turbo Grafx 16.

For the time being, you can stream the track below until the track makes it’s way to iTunes and Spotify. What do you think of the new track?
