Suge Knight is suing Chris Brown over a 2014 shooting that left the onetime rap mogul with seven bullets wounds.
The lawsuit claims 1 Oak nightclub failed to take proper security measures during a MTV VMA pre-party hosted by Brown.
The 51-year-old Compton native, who is currently awaiting trial on murder charges, also claims Brown has gang ties. “As a foreseeable result, gunshots were fired by those admitted into the event and Knight was shot and seriously injured.”
Brown has yet to comment on Knight’s suit.
Knight is currently in prison for running over and killing 55-year-old Terry Carter following a confrontation at a Compton burger joint.
