Radio One Columbus Announces Temporary Change to Yeezy 107.5 FM
(Columbus, OH: September 19, 2016) – On Monday, September 19 at 4:00 p.m., Power 107.5 FM will flip to Yeezy 107.5 in honor of Kanye West’s highly anticipated The Saint Pablo Tour at the Schottenstein Center on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Kanye West, a Grammy award winning rapper and producer, is one of Power 107.5’s core artists. The station will resume use of Power 107.5 FM after Kanye’s performance in Columbus on Sunday.
Theodore “Big Bink” Turner, Operations Manager for Radio One Columbus says, “Radio One Columbus is excited about being a part of Kanye’s show at the Schottenstein Center this Sunday. This will be the biggest event this year in Columbus and we have always celebrated his life and music on Power 107.5. Kanye is an iconic artist with a huge influence. Radio One acknowledges how important it is that he chose to perform in Columbus and that is why we flipped to Yeezy 107.5”. To continue this momentum, Yeezy 107.5 will play Kanye West’s music all this week leading up to the concert and give our listeners the chance to win tickets to the tour and exclusive Saint Pablo Tour merchandise.
