So here are the things that authorities know about the attacked that occurred on Ohio State University yesterday.

Ohio State authorities reported an attack on campus this morning. Here’s what we know so far:

The first call: The university issued an alert of an active shooter around 10 a.m. at Watts Hall at 19th Street and College.

What happened: A man ran into pedestrians with his car on the Ohio State University campus, then exited the vehicle with a butcher knife and started cutting victims. Initially officials said two suspects were involved and there was a gun, which was not the case.

Suspect dead: A suspect is dead and nine people have been transported to area hospitals. None of the victims had life-threatening injuries. The suspect was shot by Ohio State police.

Suspect identity: The suspect has been indentified as Abdul Razak Ali Artan, who was a first-year student at Ohio State.  Police and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad currently are searching an apartment there.
