This movie looks like it is going to be an action packed, A-Team meets comic book adventure. Some local writers had a chance to pick the brain of two of the movies star actors, Columbus Short and Chris Evans. Check it out.
Chopping It Up With “TheLosers”: Columbus Short and Chris Evans FlyPaper had the chance to catch up with Chris Evans and Columbus Short to discuss their upcoming film “The Losers.”
The film, directed by Sylvain White and written by James Vanderbilt and Peter Berg, stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Oscar Jaenada and Jason Patric.
Based on Andy Diggle’s comic book series, the film tells the tale of members of a CIA black ops team, betrayed and left to die and therefore seeking revenge.
Having had previous roles in the “Fantastic Four” films and others, Chris Evans is no stranger to comic book or graphic novel-based films.
“Comic books translate to film incredibly well,” Chris Evans, 28, said. “
They make for a great blueprint, you know, with all these people involved, the actors, the director, the visual effects provider, everyone involved in trying to make a movie come to life, it’s nice having this kind of foundation to reference.
“Evans said he believes the transition from page to screen to be easy when it comes to comic book movies.
Columbus Short, who has had his share of roles in films such as “Stomp the Yard” and “Armored,” described the career progression that led to his role in “The Losers.” READ MORE
