And the numbers reflect how Michael’s music is loved all around the world. 26% of the downloads come from India, followed by the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Finland. “Beat It” is the most heavily-downloaded Michael Jackson jam, followed by “Billie Jean” and “Thriller.” Music historian Geoff Roberts stated, “Michael Jackson has always been a pop music legend. But the anniversary of his death and birthday celebrations seem to have revived Jackson fever as fans rediscover his songs – making him the most popular solo artist of all time.”
