The debut album from Nicki Minaj now has a release date. She recently took to her Twitter account to announce that the record will be dropping around the Thanksgiving holiday. She writes, quote, “Yes. It’s time. November 23rd.” metrosource  

Beyoncé had Sasha Fierce.  Brandy has Bran’ Nu, Mary J. Blige had Brooklyn. Female artists taking on different alter-egos is nothing new.
