Rapper and actor Romeo has been dropped from the USC basketball team due to a rules violation that he declined to discuss. Romeo, the son of rap mogul and community activist Percy Miller (aka Master P) won a full scholarship to USC and played point guard for the Trojans during the 2008-2009 season. But he lost his spot on the team due to something he was involved with before he even got to college. Romeo told AllHipHop.com, “I’m sad that my basketball season at USC will end early due to a violation from an incident that happened two years ago, which is not fair.”

Romeo will now focus on his entertainment career; he has an album called “Box Office Hits” due out in August, he’s launching a label called Next Generation Records and he landed a big movie role that he’s sworn to secrecy about. Romeo said, “I’m happy about the new opportunity I recently received to play in this big blockbuster movie. I can’t talk about it but I can tell you that I won’t be a vampire.”
