Lil Wayne is set to begin an unpleasant chapter in his life. Weezy is due in a New York courtroom today where he will be formally sentenced on gun charges. Wayne pleaded guilty in the case last October after police found a gun on his tour bus in 2007. He will receive one year behind bars, but he is expected to serve eight to ten months assuming good behavior. It is believed that Lil Wayne will turn himself in and begin serving his sentence immediately.
