Gone but not forgotten a production company has teamed up with Tupac Shakur’s mother, and are working on a biopic. Tupac’s mother, executive producer Afeni Shakur-Davis, will serve as the film’s executive producer.
The film is currently in the casting phase and is slated to start shooting in late spring early summer. A representative from the production company stated, “The film chronicles the life and legacy of Tupac Shakur, including his rise to superstardom as a hip hop artist and actor, as well as his imprisonment and prolific, controversial time at Death Row Records, where he was steeped in the East Coast/West Coast rap war.”
I’m excited to see the film since his mother is involved, but the burning question everyone wants to know is, who will play Tupac?
