Tru Life pleaded guilty to gang assault in the second degree yesterday in a New York City courtroom and was sentenced to 8 years in ail. The former Roc-A-Fella rapper accepted a plea deal that brought the charges down from one count of murder in the second degree, one count of attempted murder in the second degree, two counts of gang assault in the first degree, and one count of assault in the first degree.

Tru Life, born Robert Rosado, and his brother Marcus Rosado were offered a plea deal earlier this month.
