Lil’ Wayne may be forced to cancel a string upcoming shows in Canada because of his prior arrest on weapons charges. Weezy was recently denied a visa by the United Kingdom and had to cancel shows there.

Lil Wayne Names “Jersey Shore” As His Favorite Show

“A person’s admissibility to Canada is determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the information given to officers,” said Lisa White, spokeswoman for Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). “A criminal conviction can make a person inadmissible to Canada … a final decision is made by an officer at a border crossing or airport.”

White went on to say that those with criminal records hoping to enter Canada can apply through a rehabilitation or temporary residence appeal.

“It’s recommended they do this before they come to Canada, to make sure they’re aware of the requirements,” she said. “Travellers have to be prepared to discuss their criminal record.”
