Had a chance to sit down and chop it up with Ohio’s own CJ Phillips of CJP Films! CJ was the Production Manager for Final Draft’s “Do It” music video featuring Yung Joc.

Writer, director, actor and crew member Christopher J. Phillips hails from the Cleveland, Ohio neighborhood of Euclid. His passion for the art of filmmaking began when he was a youth. While the other neighborhood kids simply watched movies to pass time during storms, Christopher analyzed them. He would constantly take notes on scene arrangements, camera angles, and dialogue ranging from films such as ET and The Little Rascals to The Untouchables and Hoodlum. While written, directing and producing several short films under his belt.

Recently, Christopher has worked with some of the best independent production companies in the Great Lakes region like Nehst Studios and Ohio Independent Pictures. He’s been a part of the 2008 Wall of Fame where he was an extra actor and worked as a production assistant, the 2011 I, ALEX CROSS which he was casted as an actor.
