A Food and Drug Administration panel is endorsing a new over-the-counter HIV test. The 17-member panel of experts voted unanimously yesterday to approve the OraQuick In-Home HIV test. The product is the first-ever over-the-counter HIV test capable of providing complete results from home. The FDA will now consider the panel’s recommendation in determining whether to approve the test. Would you take the HIV test at home?
