Columbus police say there’s now an app to report crimes and suspicious activity. The free iPhone application is available to report drug complaints, crime tips and send images of suspicious activity. Anyone with an iPhone can go to the Apple App Store and search for “Columbus PD Tips” to download the app. Columbus police say, however, the tips are not monitored around the clock, and 911 is still your best bet in an emergency.
