Today marks 49 years to the day that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his famous “I Have A Dream” speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.  It was August 28th, 1963.  Hundreds of thousands of supporters participating in the March on Washington gathered to hear the 17-minute address which would become a defining moment for the Civil Rights Movement.  The stirring delivery and language of the speech has made it one of the most quoted and memorable speeches of all time.
