This may just be Kanye West‘s busiest year yet. Within the past month, the controversial hip hop artist released his sixth solo album and his on-and-off-again girlfriend Kim Kardashian gave birth to their daughter, North West. What’s next for the ex-backpack and collared Polo shirt wearing? Yes, a partnership with A.P.C.
West befriended A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou several years ago. The two just recently planned a small capsule collection. The collection will consist of the essentials ‘Ye and Touitou are quite fond of like jeans, hoodies and T-shirt. Who would have guessed?
“Over the months, we kept hanging out and finally came up with the idea of doing a small capsule collection of clothes together. ‘Small’ meaning that this capsule collection consists of a jean, a hoodie and a T-Shirt. Those are precious to me and to Kanye too, because it took time and thoughts to get there.” -Jean Touitou
The French label will release the capsule collection on July 14 starting at 10 a.m. The collection will be available online and in stores.
