COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Columbus man has admitted to providing a 14-year-old girl with heroin, police said.
In a July 29 interview with police, the alleged victim reported that Steven L. Lambert Jr. provided her with heroin which she began using once a week beginning in February, court documents stated.
After he was read his rights, Lambert admitted to police that he purchased heroin in the presence of the victim and assisted her in administering the drug to herself.
It was initially reported by Franklin County Children Services that the victim overdosed on the drug and was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She has since been placed in rehab, according to court documents.
Lambert is jailed on a $250,000 appearance bond. SOURCE
