R&B diva Kelly Rowland is usually quiet about her dating life. However, since releasing the song, “Dirty Laundry” in May, and subsequently revealing to the world that she has an abusive ex-boyfriend, the floodgates have opened! On July 26, the former member of Destiny’s Child took her candor a step further and appeared to announce her new relationship with Pusha T, 36, on Instagram!
“I love you baby! #streetlife @kingpush,” Kelly, 32, wrote on July 26, as she captioned a photo of them together at Prive nightclub in Atlanta.
If they are dating, we’re happy to see Kelly with a man who makes her happy, unlike her former boyfriend.
In “Dirty Laundry,” Kelly recalls a particularly dark moment in her life where an abusive ex-boyfriend created a rift between her and Beyonce.
In the most heartbreaking segment of the song, her abusive ex-boyfriend reiterates the idea that Beyonce is above her:
Hitting the window like it was me
And still it shattered
He pulled me out and said, ‘Don’t nobody love you but me
Not your mama
Not your daddy
and especially not Bey.’
Thankfully, Kelly’s new photo is a sign that she’s moving forward with her life!
