Chris Brown Says Jay Z Gets A Public Pass For His Troubled Past
Chris Brown is gracing the latest cover of JET Magazine and “respectfully” firing a few not-so-friendly shots in the process.
Breezy sat down for a quick chat with JET and opened up about everything from Trayvon Martin, his own image in the media, racism, other celebrities getting off easy with the public after making bad decisions and more.
Check out a few excerpts below.

On going through hard times and responding to critics:
“You have to go through the struggle before you can get to the good part. I don’t try to last out at people, or be as mad or impulsive as I used to be.”
On dealing with backlash and reaching his breaking point:
“I got to the point where it’s only so much you can take from the master, you feel me? I’ve taken my fair share of lashings.”
Chris also whined about spoke on how hip hop moguls like Jay Z get a “pass” for the things they’ve done in the past while he doesn’t, and how young black men are still considered “n***as” despite staying out of trouble.
