WATER COOLER TALK: The parents of the Nevada Sparks Middle School shooter may be charged with being responsible for the school shooting.

There is a law called “child access” that holds parents accountable for improper storage/recklessness that allow a child to have access to a gun/weapon.

The 12 year old turned his parents Ruger 9mm semiautomatic gun on fellow schoolmates wounding two and killing one teacher. The child’s name has not been released since he is a minor but other students are saying he was bullied and they suspect this might have been the motive.

Do you think it’s fair that the parents could be charged and held accountable for the shooting?
